The starting point.
Modern Hindi cinema choreography. Energetic, expressive, story-driven. Where most students begin and where every season anchors.

Regional, rooted.
Punjabi Bhangra, Gujarati Garba, Dandiya Raas, and other regional Indian forms.
Fusion piece on stage, dramatic lighting, contemporary positions
Bollywood, modern.
Bollywood crossed with contemporary, hip-hop, and jazz funk. For older students with a foundation.
The studio
A small studio in a quiet corner of Cumming, where Indian-American kids grow up dancing.
Garima Dance Academy has run from a private studio in Cumming, Georgia, since 2022, built on Garima Agrawal's 15-plus years of teaching. Students grow up here, perform together, and carry the work with them.
We don’t teach classical forms. We focus on the dances Indian-American kids encounter in family life and at festivals: Bollywood choreography, regional folk traditions, and modern fusion.
